The Institute for Studies in Eastern Christianity (ISEC) - The Institute for Studies of Eastern Christianity (ISEC) at Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York was established in 2017. In continuance with the goals of the former Sophia Institute, ISEC provides a scholarly forum to explore the theology and tradition of the Orthodox Church with emphasis on the application of this rich lineage, both patristic and modern, to contemporary social issues.

Archaeographic Laboratory at Institute for Studies in Eastern Christianity - The Archeographic Laboratory was created as an open scientific international platform, which develops methods and studies the problems of archeography, studies Cyrillic handwritten book monuments, studies the problems of the history of the Orthodox Church related to the evolution of handwritten Cyrillic books, and carries out the study and scientific description of book manuscript Cyrillic monuments.
